Description: Poster for the Bar Harbor Horse Show. Poster is a Charles W. Holmes Lithograph depicting a woman with a light blue bonnet holding a parasol and holding a horse's face to her own. The Horse is poking its head out of a circle in the blank background of the print. Text of the poster reads: "Bar Harbor Horse Show Aug. 23, 24, 25 1910" In the lower left hand corner is the phrase "When Thoroughbreds Meet" and above that, next to the parasol tip, is Holmes' signature "Chas. Description: Promotional Clippings of Ted Shawn and his Ensemble of Men Dancers. Ted Shawn dance company performed in at the Bar Harbor Building of the Arts in 1938, the bottom clipping advertises that performance. Ted Shawn was one of the first notable male pioneers of American modern dance.
Description: Black and white photograph depicting the cast and band of a musical production at the Casino put on by the Bar Harbor American Legion. Musicians are seated on floor while cast stands are on stage. Various people have at one point been identified and their names are written on the image, though the writing is unclear.
